Simplicity is
Mathematics & CS student at University of Trier — building tools that are open, precise, and built to last.
Structure over noise.
Mathematics & Computer Science student at the University of Trier — with a strong focus on algorithms, stochastics, and data modeling.
Alongside my academic work, I have been building infrastructure and software systems professionally — from hosting administration at RSE Systems to research data management at the Leibniz Institute for Psychology.
My current work centers on a single conviction: software and communication must not be owned by corporations. I am developing the LAMA Open Ecosystem — a framework of tools and principles designed to make decentralized, community-owned software viable, sustainable, and attribution-respecting.
The LAMA Open Ecosystem
"Build freely. Credit honestly. Respect the ecosystem."
LAMA is not a project — it is a philosophy codified into a license and a growing set of tools. The LAMA Open Ecosystem License (LOEL v1.0) governs all my public work and rests on three non-negotiable principles.
Freedom to Build
Use, fork, and build commercially — no restrictions on creativity.
Radical Transparency
Every contributor must be documented via a mandatory attribution system.
Permanent Attribution
Credit to original authors is legally protected and cannot be stripped.
This approach is a direct response to the growing trend of stripping authorship from open-source work. LAMA ensures that openness does not come at the cost of recognition.
Things I built.
Lumen
Secure European browser for people, built on the Ladybird engine. Privacy-first, sovereign, and built for the people — not for corporations. The most ambitious project I am working on.
GitHub →Lama-S
Native macOS terminal built with SwiftUI. Real PTY shell session with AI-assisted explanations, error help, and Git-focused workflows. 🦙
View on GitHub →Forge
Production-grade CLI tool that automates and standardizes your entire developer environment — tool installation, editor setup, shell configuration, and reproducible environments.
View on GitHub →FuzzDus
A Tamagotchi-like terminal companion. Deterministic species & personality from your username, mood system, XP, shell hooks, and local LLM soul generation.
View on GitHub →ByteStruct
Compact binary data format with built-in typing, versioning, and signability — a replacement for JSON, XML, and Protobuf.
GitHub →MineSkin
Browser-based Minecraft skin editor. Pixel canvas, live 3D preview, Java & Bedrock Edition support.
Open MineSkin →RSE Systems
IT infrastructure & high-performance web engineering. Completed chapter.
rse-systems.com →Where I've been.
Applied Mathematics & Computer Science
Specializations in algorithmic thinking, probability theory, stochastics, and formal data modeling.
Minister of Coordination
Managing external institutional partnerships (incl. KPMG Luxembourg) and inter-departmental coordination within the student council.
Research Assistant
Structured research data management, GitHub-based documentation workflows, and maintaining scientific data repositories.
Founder & Administrator
Commercial IT services, web hosting administration, SEO management, and server infrastructure for external clients.
Where I am now.
LAMA Open Ecosystem
Building a framework of tools and principles for decentralized, community-owned software that is viable, sustainable, and attribution-respecting.
Design & Precision
Apple taught me that the best interface is the one you don't notice. Clarity is a feature.
Creative Systems
Minecraft is a sandbox for systems thinking. Every build is architecture. Every redstone circuit is logic.
European Digital Sovereignty
Transparent, durable infrastructure — built in Europe, owned by its users. Software and communication must not be owned by corporations.
